Empowering Democracy and Transparency

We promote democracy, transparency, and citizen participation to guarantee universal rights and the development of communities.

About Us

Projects for Democracy (PfD) is an emerging non-governmental organization dedicated to combating corruption and promoting democracy, the rule of law, and transparency in Colombia. PfD evolved from the Cartagena Honesta Corporation, established in 1999, which played a vital role in denouncing and auditing corruption in public procurement.

Under the leadership of William Dau, PfD seeks to expand anti-corruption initiatives in a broader and more structured way, building on a legacy of activism and significant administrative and judicial reforms in Cartagena to replicate them in other Colombian cities, especially those permeated by anti-democratic practices that hinder citizen participation and lack transparency.
